Still, to their credit, they do have a store credit system to try and balance out the difference, which is definitely appreciated. It's a pity, that really helped them stand out from the other stores. That policy got thrown out the window, too. They previously had a strict single price worldwide per game, which helps a lot in New Zealand as we often get unreasonably shafted for game prices. I emailed them about it but didn't even get a reply. just hearing the words 'System Shock 2' will make. giving you freedom of choice and a hassle-free experience. Now I look at the store page and I've got no idea how much anything costs, and I don't want to run through a currency converter for each game. GOG.com is a digital distribution platform an online store with a curated selection of games, an optional gaming client giving you freedom of choice, and a vivid community of gamers. I'd say a lot more NZers are more used to converting to and from USD in their head than to and from AUD. Reason being, they decided to implement regional currencies - but in New Zealand they decided it'd be a good idea to set the regional currency to Australian Dollars which makes as much sense to me as setting it to Swedish Krona. I'll still use it on occasion, mainly for old games, but it's not my top-priority game store any more. ![]() ![]() I used to use GOG for any game that was available on both that and Steam because I really like my games being DRM-free. ![]()
